It's the 4th! Happy Independence Day everyone!

I took a little break from the Expo today because scary shit happens in LA on the 4th. Plus there's a MJ tribute next door to AX. Not a wise day to go.

Here's a little breakdown of my week thus far:

Wednesday: I nearly killed myself doing double work for Geometry so I could miss Thursday's class to go to AX. I got to talk to ~KirstenChocolate via Skype! Let it be known that she is the Godmother of my new baby Bulbasaur, Cadbury Charles Ross.

Thursday: First day of the expo! I dressed as France, my lil sister dressed as Seychelles, and ~Ienzo (Renee) dressed as America. I had the worst France cosplay ever XD No one knew who the frack I was. I found a Riku keychain on the floor. It was adorable! Security wasn't that tight, because I just basically waltzed right into the Exhibit Hall with my sister who didn't have a badge Later in the day my wig bugged the shit out of me and I put on my red one for the hell of it. I met the coolest Seto Kaiba cosplayer ever that night.

Friday: 2nd day! I dressed as Yoite from Nabari no Ou... barely anyone recognized me Renee dressed as America again. Every other person stopped her to take a picture of her A nice person cosplayng as Spain taught me a dance called the Algorithm March. I wonder why everyone says it's bad. It's really fun! Oh, and no one checks ID anymore when buying weaponry... I bought a sword. I called my parents to ask if I could buy one because they were $20 each (that's an amazing price, btw). Dad picked up first. Here's the conversation:

Dad: Hello?
Me: Hey Dad. Can I buy a sword?
Dad: ....Whut?
Me: I want to buy a sword. They're $20 each!
Dad: Uh... ask your mother *hands over to Mom*
Mom: Hi hunny, what is it?
Me: Hi Mom. Can I buy a sword?
Mom: ....You don't need to ask permission. You're already 16. You can buy whatever you want.
Me: ...Really?..... SWEET!

It's fucking awesome. I temporarily named it Kevin so I wouldn't refer to it as "the sword." (I didn't want to get in trouble) I also bought a Death Note wall scroll with Light AND L on it for only $14! I waited around in the karaoke room to get a turn to sing, but I couldn't because I had to prepare for the pajamas party 8( It was great. There was a lot of free food. It was the first decent meal I had had in 2 days (Expo food is EXPENSIVE).

Today: I didn't go because it was too dangerous. I'll be going tomorrow dressed as Cheri-sama from Kyou Kara Maoh! Hopefully it will be a better cosplay than my France... though I do have to say, my Yoite cosplay was pretty damned good. OMFG SETH GREEN IS GOING TO BE THERE TOMORROW I can't wait
