This was the free request for *visualjenna for winning the Insanity Contest hosted by =my-dark-desire
I'm just going to say this now: the first person to call the flying boy "Peter Pan" will be sliced in half with a chainsaw
The main idea is escapism, running away from all the troubles and worries in life. The dirty, polluted, industrial city represents the darkness that is in this world (I tried to make my art have a deap meaning for once
). The girl feels trapped living in such a horrible place. The mystical boy comes to her rescue, to take her far away from this place.

i love the feeling in this piece.
but i also hope you encourage constructive critisism.
although the message hear is clear, i feel like it could be emphasized with a a darker background. make the background more deary, and just overall darker colors, no shininess. i feel that the girl and the boy should be the center points of the drawing and the only ones with bright colors, such as white.. this is kind of difficult to explain.. but like.. near the bottom of the background, it gets lighter and the buildings reflect light, i feel that it should not be so..
i dont know.. i just kind of went on a rant there..
but really, this is really well done! i love it! :] <3
